COLLABORATIVE BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY PROVIDE CUSTOMERS BETTER SERVICE Since 1926, the Electric Motor Repair business has been key to Kirby Risk’s long-lasting success. Today, it remains the foundation of Kirby Risk’s Mechanical Solutions and Service division that provides electric motors, repair, preventative and predictive maintenance services and power transmission products to our customers.

As a member of Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) since 1938 and EASA Accredited since 2017, our capabilities include Dynamic Balancing, AC and DC motor disassembly and reassembly, motor rewinding, pump repair, gearbox repair, machining and custom assembly. BRIDGING THE DISTANCE At Kirby Risk, our family of businesses (Mechanical Solutions and Service, Service Center, Precision Machining, Electrical Supply and ARCO) work together synergistically to provide customers with effective and efficient products, solutions and services that best meet their needs.

Operating within the existing network and infrastructure provided through the Electrical Supply business, Mechanical Solutions and Service can work across branch supply locations in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Each location and its surrounding territories are supported by a team of local Account Managers and assisted by Mechanical Solutions and Service Sales Specialists and Consultants. The Kirby Risk Distribution Center is included in this supporting network. They offer a fleet of trucks and experienced drivers that enable them to make nightly deliveries to all Electrical Supply locations. Customers receive products the next day and, in some cases, the same day for emergencies.
