THE SCHOOLCRAFT COLLEGE FOUNDATION ASSISTS ATHLETICS WITH ALUMNI EVENTS The Foundation has been working in tandem with the Athletics department to help promote alumni games for the baseball, softball, and basketball teams.

In January, legendary former women’s basketball coach, Karen Lafata, was honored and presented with a Tribute Plaque to commemorate her time with the Ocelots! Former players were in attendance to celebrate the occasion with their former coach! This spring, the baseball and softball teams also hosted

alumni events at their respective ballparks. Guests were treated to food and refreshments as they got to watch the new team of Ocelots take the field. We look forward to assisting athletics with future events, such as the annual Soccer Tailgate event coming this fall – watch for details!
